Support project finance teams by reviewing cost and budgets including variation values and contingencies; Assist in P&L reviews and establishing financial project forecasts; Review and value variations and final accounts;
Contractual Management
Support the project team by reviewing the contract, establishing areas of concern and strength testing; Assist in contractual correspondence;
Dispute Resolution
Advises and supports project and legal teams in settling disputes arising in the project phase. Includes support in reviewing and ascertaining the strength of claims relating to commercial issues and quantum. Includes the development of claims and counter claims and the negotiation of financial settlements, including:
Pre-Action Responses
Support and engage in pre-action correspondence; Review and advise on commercial issues relating to disputes;
Claims Support
Assist the project and legal teams in formulating claims/ counter claims and all responses to claims made by other parties;
Settlement Negotiations
Support in achieving settlements to dispute without the need for formal dispute resolution including assistance with fair and reasonable negotiated settlements;
Expert Advisers
Advises and supports project and legal teams on matters relating to quantum in formal disputes including arbitration and litigation.
Strategic Review
Support project and legal teams on all aspects of strategy relating to commercial and quantum aspects of a dispute;
Expert Support
Advise as part of the project and legal team to strengthen the position of claims/ counter claims; Providing witness statements or giving evidence if required (on a factual basis only);
